Understanding the things that bring joy
What sets our approach apart is how we begin. Support starts with a face-to-face home visit from one of our care managers, taking time to understand each person’s needs, routines, and the things that bring joy. Over a cup of tea, we talk through health, daily preferences, and the important people, interests, and comforts in their life. We also listen to the carer’s perspective, the challenges they are navigating, and what would help lighten their load.

This personal understanding helps us tailor support and thoughtfully match each client with the support workers and services that suit them best. Along the way, we take the time to help individuals and carers understand the aged care system and their options within it, so they feel informed, supported, and confident in the care being put in place.

Carers Counselling

Mental health support tailored to carers.

In partnership with Sandra Kimball, a nationally recognised Carer Counsellor, we offer one-on-one mental health sessions for carers of loved ones over 65. These sessions focus on strengthening mental wellbeing so carers can be at their best in their role.
Thanks to a generous donation, we provide three FREE sessions to carers we support. Additional sessions or sessions for others are available at a subsidised rate of $15.
