Caring for a loved one can be deeply meaningful but also physically and emotionally demanding, which is why we walk alongside carers — listening, supporting, and helping make day-to-day life more manageable while providing time, space, and connection.
  • Emotional and practical carer support
  • Guidance through the aged care system
  • Time and space to rest and recharge
  • Opportunities to connect with other carers
  • Practical tips and strategies for everyday caring

What we offer

  • Honest, supportive conversations
  • Practical tips and guidance
  • Meaningful connection with other carers
  • A growing circle of support
Monthly meetups to share, laugh, and learn.
Once a month, local carers come together over coffee to share stories, swap tips, and find encouragement in one another’s company. Conversations are wide-ranging — from daily challenges and family dynamics to navigating My Aged Care, the health system, and changing abilities. There’s also warmth and laughter. The shared humour of everyday caring often lightens the load and reminds people they are not alone. We’re excited to grow the Coffee Club into new areas and welcome even more carers into this supportive community.

Who's is for

  • Carers workshops
  • Free of charge to carers we support
  • Delivered quarterly
  • A space for connection, learning, and practical tools
Practical tools for everyday caring.
Our workshops provide a supportive space for anyone caring for a loved one with dementia to build confidence, community, and practical skills. Guided by our Centre Facilitators, these sessions cover both the practical and emotional sides of caring — from managing restlessness, agitation, and sundowning to navigating communication, changing relationships, grief, and resilience. Carers share stories, swap ideas, and learn strategies they can use at home, all within a warm and open environment.

Carers Counselling

Mental health support tailored to carers.

In partnership with Sandra Kimball, a nationally recognised Carer Counsellor, we offer one-on-one mental health sessions for carers of loved ones over 65. These sessions focus on strengthening mental wellbeing so carers can be at their best in their role.
Thanks to a generous donation, we provide three FREE sessions to carers we support. Additional sessions or sessions for others are available at a subsidised rate of $15.

HeyDay Moments

“The service has been invaluable to me and my father. Having this day — or days — off is important for me, and it’s just as important for my father to have social outlets beyond me. The team have been fantastic, supporting me along my carer journey while giving my father enjoyable and meaningful time.”
